Get moving!!!
Ok, if you think this looks life threatening, try not moving at all!!! New research shows that even light or moderate exercise can substantially reduce your risk of early death!!!
Walk, ride a bike, do something! Although more physical activity is better, the benefits of even minimal amounts of exercise are still greater than none at all!!!
Slow the aging process!!!
Inflammation and free radicals accelerate the aging process! And are primary factors in age related diseases like heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancers, Alzheimer’s etc… Inflammation and free radicals increase with consumption of “dead foods” nutrient deficient foods!!!
Eat live, organic foods from the earth and you will not only slow the aging process but prevent many age related diseases and live with greater energy and vigor!!!
Go Live!!!
Sleep!!!
Here’s more great reasons to get your zzzz’s! Research shows that staying up late, (upsetting the body’s internal clock) might come with serious consequences for lipid metabolism!!! This is associated to your circadian rhythm being thrown off which results in high triglycerides (fatty acids in the blood), a risk factor for heart disease!!!
So it’s not just about getting your 7-8 hours of sleep but also when you get them that counts!!!
L-arginine!!!
L-arginine is an amino acid with many heart health benefits including health blood pressure!!! L-arginine is known to help with endothelial health for vascular function which leads to cardiovascular health.
L-arginine can be found in walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, Brazil nuts, almonds, cashews and peanuts, among many others…
Vegetable rich diets fight cancer!!!
A cruciferous-rich diet has shown a reduced risk of many cancers!!! Cruciferous vegetables are also rich in antioxidants that help protect your body’s cells from damage…
In specific, broccoli is a great source of calcium, potassium, folate, vitamin A, C and fiber, they’re loaded with phytonutrients — a group of compounds that may help prevent chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and some cancers.
Dragon Fruit!!!
Dragon fruit tastes like a mixture of kiwi, melon and pear all in one. It’s low in calories and has shown to be effective in lowering blood glucose levels, preventing cancer causing free radicals, improving skin, improving digestion, strengthening eyes, bones and teeth and improving memory…

My trip to Japan in one word…Kaizen!!!
Kaizen (Japanese for improvement) is a philosophy which refers to continuous improvement or change for the better… It wasn’t until my recent trip there that I fully understood what it meant…
Japan is a beautiful country rich in culture, tradition, pride and among many other things unbelievable KINDNESS!!! You might think that with everything they’ve been through as a country they might be angry, resentful or even bitter but it’s the exact opposite. What I experienced was unlike anything I had ever experienced before, it was as if every single person was trying to be the best human being they could be…Kaizen!!! From the attendants at the metro to regular citizens walking down the street, you could feel the kindness and love pouring out of everyone. As if that wasn’t enough the city was impeccable, the streets where free of litter, the side walks free of chewing gum, no visible garbage anywhere… How do they do it? Where did this “Kaizen” come from? And why aren’t we practicing it?
Ready? After World War II an American taught the Japanese the principles of Kaizen in order to help rebuild their industry…the rest is as they say is…history.
I’ve always lived by a belief that we must all try to practice continuous self improvement everyday of our lives in order to truly live… Here it seems to exist in perfect practice! Bravo!!!

More on Resveratrol!!!
Latest studies reveal Resveratrol to contain anti-inflammatory benefits!!!
“Resveratrol has been shown to exert an anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative stress effect in vitro and in animal models,” Husam Ghanim, PhD.
Resveratrol actions are thought to be mediated by increased expression of sirtuin-1 (SIRT-1), a gene associated with longevity.
